It seems like only yesterday we were putting up the Joomla site and Kelly and I were busy trying to figure out that system and how to make one HELL of a nice looking website that also showed "radio station" as a focus and purpose. Overall it's the nicest home we've had and now that we've had it for oh, 3 months or so, we've already got another change. Before I get to that Friday marked another change at Renegade Radio. Chris Nite, well known for being in multiple places at the same time to support the local scene, has left the building. He's going to Radio81x, (www.chrisnitelive.com) his own site, and will focus on his local promotional events and continue to work with the sponsors he's collected through his hard work. His time here and efforts here for this 'dream' we all share played a large part in the growth of Renegade Radio. We wish him the best of luck and encourage everyone to go to his local events and buy him a beer in appreciation for all he does for the scene. |

There are (2) firsts for Def Leppard now that mark some significant changes for either me or RenegadeRadio.Net. Def Leppard was the first band we played on a national scale and now, Def Leppard is the first band I ever just bought the whole CD from itunes ONLINE. While I discovered I hate itunes and the M4P format, I can convert. I may convert to Best Buy online but that's aonther story.
Songs from the Sparklelounge is the latest effort by this Brittish rock band known for their 80s hits Photograph, Love Bites and f f f foolin and many more. To say the band has grown up quite a bit over the years can be an understatement to the music they're putting out today. |

Subourne opened it up with some of their best. They sounded great and blazed through their set fast. It was great to see them live again, the only thing missing was Sik playing cause Subourne and Sik go together like Crown n Coke :)
Waja blew the balls off everyone up front!!! They are a 3 piece band that stomps ass! I enjoyed their set plus their cover of "Only" by Anthrax. YES Don cut his goat off! Dude looks 20 years old now, wait maybe he is! HAHA! These guys rule and I'm glad to see them back on stage playing. Go see em live! |

Social - (so·cial) - pertaining to, devoted to, or characterized by friendly companionship or relations
Jab - (jab) - a short, quick punch In this instance, however, it simply means "nothing personal" as if the bands quick energy and full force musical gale brings out the social jab in us all. "We get up on stage and come across as forceful, but it's nothing personal" says band vocalist Joel Purifoy. "In fact we love interaction with the crowd and we go about doing it by getting you involved and energized anyway we can." If you're new to Social Jab and have yet to see them play live, you may want to slam a 6-pack of energy drinks just to keep up. The extreme bursts of energy that brings the audience in every time is quickly becoming a trade mark for this 5 piece band. Social Jab is Joel Purifoy performing vocals, Dave Shafer on bass, Dan Rivera and Chad Abbott on guitar, and Thomas Stewart on drums. |
